Endometriosis Awareness Week is a dedicated time to raise awareness of endometriosis, a painful condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it. The entire month of March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, which is a time to learn more about the condition, symptoms, and treatment options.

The colour for endometriosis awareness is yellow, and the yellow ribbon is the emblem for the condition. Schools, workplaces, groups, and communities can participate in Go Yellow! events to wear yellow, raise awareness, and fundraise.

Endometriosis is often misunderstood and under-researched, which can lead to women waiting an average of eight years to receive a diagnosis.
