I am Laura and I am a B Corp Consultant.
B Corps are business that have been certified by B Lab (a global non profit) as being businesses that are committed to balancing people and the planet with profit. It is a holistic certification that covers every aspect of a business in 5 categories – governance, workers, environment, customers and community. Currently there are over 6000 B Corps worldwide with over 1200 in the UK – up from 500 at the end of 2021.
It is a rapidly growing community that is full of people committed to doing good through their business activities.It is no secret that the world is not in a good place right now, the climate emergency is real and already tens of thousands of people are negatively impacted every year. However there is hope. Humans are incredibly innovative and resilient and when those attributes are put to good use amazing things can happen.
I firmly believe that we can and will make the world a beautiful, thriving place for all. Whilst this will not happen overnight, with the help of committed businesses like yours we will get there.B Corp certification is for those businesses who are truly committed to a better business future; who want to prove to their shareholders, their employees and all stakeholders that they are serious about their purpose.
I have many years of analytical experience and am fuelled by my passion of working for a better future for the planet, for people and for nature. I consistently strive for excellence and will always go the extra mile to make sure clients are fully satisfied with my work, as shown by the fact that under me Honeywell Bakes became B Corp certified just 14 months after beginning the process.
