Includability is delighted to welcome The Support Group (UK) as an Includability Committed Employer for 2022
The Support Group have successfully completed an initial 5-Star Verification Process in which they have committed to take the journey toward authentic inclusion by integrating fairness into their company culture and into each stage of their recruitment process by making commitments in the fields of sustainability, mental health, wellbeing, talent management, and diversity and inclusion.
What is the includability independent certified verification process?
The process was independently conducted by Includability Official Partners; Prosperah, Outliers Wellbeing, Flex Wellbeing, Unleashed, and Mental Health Charter CIC to ensure practices align with established definitions of an ‘Inclusive Workplace’.
Who are The Support Group?
The Support Group’s primary brand is easyfundraising - the UK’s leading charity cashback platform. Their purpose is to help people support charities and good causes through their everyday purchases by using smart technology to connect online shoppers with over 7,000 different brands and retailers. This helps supporters to raise over £5m for their favourite causes each year.
The easyfundraising application can be found on the payment pages of major retailers and will ask for small donations on shopping bills that aid charitable causes. Any cause is welcome and easyfundraising is currently supporting over 180,000 including charities, sports clubs, community groups, PTAs, etc. to make a difference.
Thrilled to achieve Includability Committed Employer status, Janna Bates, Head of HR at Easy Fundraising said,
“Includability helps us to focus our efforts and benchmark against other organisations. We are really pleased to have fared well during the assessment process having focussed our health and wellbeing strategy, by implementing PMI for colleagues and reinforcing the need to get out and walk. We are beginning our DEI journey gathering data and have some great ideas to work with. We are really pleased with our ESG journey, and we are currently working on sustainable procurement processes having just revamped our office using recycled kitchen cupboards, we also plant a tree when colleagues reach one years’ service.”
What is the Includability Community?
Includability is a platform centred around community. It has been developed to raise expectation, increase employer accountability, and create a new standard for what the recruitment sector should deliver through engagement, collaboration and regularly sharing best practice.
Includability provides a job board to all Includability Committed Employers and Official Partners. We aim to provide inspiration and action for positive change in the workplace. Our vision is to be the number one platform of choice for employers and job seekers and to positively contribute towards a society that is free from discrimination will be achieved through clear communication, collaboration and decisive action.
What makes us different from other community platforms and job boards is every employer advertising on the platform is independently verified using a 5 Star Verification process, or 6 Star Verification process for recruitment agencies, to ensure companies are committed towards the areas of diversity and inclusion, environment and sustainability, mental health, wellbeing, and talent management.
Paul Smith, Founder of Includability, said:
“We are delighted to welcome The Support Group’s easyfundraising into our Includability Community. It’s great that they were committed to working with our Verification Partners to obtain Includability Committed Employer status. By achieving this, The Support Group has displayed excellent intentions and transparency. Completing our verification process means they are now part of a growing community of like-minded organisations that will support each other to share best practice, overcome obstacles, empower employees and work collaboratively to create an inclusive culture. I am very excited that we will be taking this journey together.”
