What is B Corp?

B Corp is a global certification enterprise whereby non-profit, B Lab, verifies that they are meeting the highest environmental and social responsibility standards, not only through their product or service, but across all aspects of internal and external practices.

There are more than 1,100 B Corps across 58 industries in the UK alone, employing more than 52,000 workers. Globally, there are more than 6,400 Certified B Corporations in more than 89 countries. The number of B Corps in the UK has increased by more than 1,400% since 2015.

B Corp is shifting our global economy from a system that profits few to one that benefits all: advancing a new model that moves from concentrating wealth and power to ensuring equity, from extraction to generation, and from prioritising individualism to embracing interdependence.

What was Includability’s B Corp journey?

Includability has achieved B Corp status after a rigorous B Impact Assessment since 2021 that covered governance, workers, community, customers, and environment.

We have used the talents of our community network of experts in our core pillars to gain knowledge to not just benefit our business and our people, but everyone in our community and supply chains.

Now we're ready to give back by helping others achieve the same or better by offering love and support to all our Includability Committed Employers to make our standard something they will treasure.

What was Includability’s B Corp Impact Assessment (BIA)Score?

To achieve B Corp status, companies must verify their social and environmental performance by completing a B Impact Assessment every 3 years.

A score of 80 qualifies a company for B Corp Certification. The median score for ordinary businesses is 50.9.

Our overall B Impact Score from of our March 2023 certification was 143.2, which breaks down into:
