This question inspired the founders with the idea that companies would create a specific giving impact with each designated business transaction. B1G1 (BUY1GIVE1 PTE. LTD.) provides businesses with an innovative digital giving platform – a.k.a. Operating System for Good – where business owners and their teams can create, measure and track their impact on global projects that are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (the SDGs). Companies join the platform via a tiered membership pricing structure.
As B1G1 members, they choose projects to give to, integrating giving directly into their operation and offering employees, customers and the management team the opportunity to participate in the creation of global social impacts. The membership fees cover the operational costs of B1G1 so that fully 100% of all giving is passed onto the carefully vetted high-impact projects in a transparent manner. Today, the B1G1 initiative brings together more than 2,600 businesses from around the world — each making significant impacts in their own ways.
