Who are Worcester City Women FC (WCWFC)?
WCWFC are an amateur women’s football club helmed by Executive Director, Nicole Allison. With over 20 years of experience in the women’s game, as a player, coach and business, Allison took over WCWFC in March 2021 to bring in dedicated investment and resources to the club at a time when women’s football is growing in popularity.
WCWFC have a clear purpose, vision and strategy to develop women and girls’ football at the club and in the community. Their vision is to be one of the leading women’s football clubs in the UK with a strong association with their community, to promote equality and develop young, local talent.
On working with Includability, Nicole Allison said,
“A partnership with Includability is so important for us because we are going on a journey to professionalise the club. In women’s football, the concept of a dual career is very common and players at all levels often have to juggle their playing career with work. One of the things that is often forgotten about is how to look after players on and off the pitch and supporting them in their career development. Not only do we want to produce talented footballers, but we also want to help develop people with vital life and leadership skills. We want to make sure that as we grow, we are doing that in a sustainable way and working with Includability will help us to provide added value to our players and staff.”

David Holby-Wolinski, Director of Includability said,
“We’re just so incredibly proud to join in partnership with WCWFC and we fell in love with Nicole’s vision from our very first call together. The work she is doing within women’s football to support her players both on and off the pitch with opportunities to empower and build knowledge is utterly inspirational and whilst Includability has had the joy of forging strong connections within football, we’re so excited that our official partnership with WCWFC represents our first with a women’s only football club. There is so much synergy within our collection mission to break down barriers, collaborate and drive change and we hope we can showcase Nicole’s vision as a game changing example to ambitious sports clubs striving for high performance across the UK and beyond.”
