Includability launches the JEDI Inclusion Toolkit to turn workplace inclusion into evidence
Thirteen self-paced modules give employers, and B Corps working to the B Lab Standards V2, a structure for their Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work and the evidence to show for it.

With videos, guidance documents, templates and slide decks the toolkit is a comprehensive inclusion support tool

Press release
Includability, the UK B Corp workplace culture business, has launched the JEDI Inclusion Toolkit, a guided, self-paced toolkit that helps organisations turn inclusion work into evidence. Its strapline sums up the idea: intent in, evidence out.
The toolkit is thirteen modules on the Includability Academy at incademy.co.uk. Between them they hold guidance documents, templates, videos and knowledge checks, with slide decks in key modules. Each module leaves the organisation holding something it can use and share, such as an action plan, a policy review, a data approach or an onboarding checklist. There is no write-up at the end, because the plans, policies and data produced along the way are the evidence.
Modules can be taken in any order, so organisations can start at the area they are short on rather than at the beginning. They cover workforce data and Self-ID surveys, worker feedback, inclusive leadership, policy review, inclusive communications and events, inclusive hiring and onboarding, talent development and building a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion action plan.
Right for any employer, built for B Corps.
The toolkit is written on good practice first, so any organisation can use it to build an inclusive workplace and show the work. For Certified B Corporations, and companies working towards certification, every module names the criteria it supports in the B Lab Standards V2 Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Impact Topic, from data collection under JEDI1 to the nineteen actions under JEDI2. The evidence is gathered as the work is done and is ready for B Corp verification. Includability does not certify, accredit or verify. B Lab certifies B Corps, and Includability supports the work behind it.
Built by people who have done the work.
Includability has worked in inclusion and workplace culture for more than six years, shaping culture with some of the biggest and best-known organisations in the UK through its Cultural Roadmap and support services. Its three directors each have more than 30 years in the sector and have helped develop toolkits for some of the world's most recognisable brands, including sporting organisations and associations. Their experience covers HR, diversity and inclusion, leadership and governance, mental health and wellbeing, talent management and recruitment, inclusive marketing and communications, and digital accessibility. The directors have been through the B Corp process three times with two different businesses, Includability is itself a certified B Corp with a score of 143.2. Currently their team are working towards becoming B Leaders to better support their portfolio of B Corp clients.
James Pravato, CEO and Co-Founder of Includability, said:
"Most of the organisations we work with already know what good inclusion looks like. What they're short of is a structure: what to do first, what each piece of work produces and where the proof sits when someone asks for it. The JEDI Inclusion Toolkit gives them that structure. Intent goes in, evidence comes out, and nobody has to start from a blank page."
Sara Matthews, JEDI and Inclusion Director at Includability, said:
"We wrote every guidance document for two readers: the person doing the work, often alongside a day job, and the leader who has to understand and deliver it. Each module explains what to do and why, then gives you the template, so the work and the evidence happen at the same time."
Dave Holby-Wolinski, Sales and People Director at Includability, said:
"B Corps new standard means Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion work now has to be evidenced, and many aren't sure where to begin. Employers outside B Corp are hearing the same questions from their boards. This one toolkit answers both sides, and because the modules work in any order, people can start where their gaps are."
How much does the JEDI Inclusion Toolkit Cost?
The full toolkit is £999 plus VAT, or £650 plus VAT for Includability Committed Employers. Modules can also be bought one at a time, from free to £300 plus VAT, and four modules are free. Organisations that don't yet know where their gaps are can start with an Includability Cultural Roadmap, which includes a JEDI gap analysis and points them to the modules they need.
The JEDI Inclusion Toolkit is available now at incademy.co.uk.
About the Toolkit
Do we need to be a B Corp to use it?
No. It's built on good practice first and works for any employer. B Corps get the JEDI criteria mapping on top.
Is this a certification?
No. Includability doesn't certify, accredit or verify anything. B Lab certifies B Corps. The toolkit helps you do the work and gather the evidence.
Why is Includability the right team to build this?
Includability have worked in inclusion and workplace culture for more than six years, shaping culture with some of the biggest and best-known organisations in the UK through our Cultural Roadmap and support services. Their three directors each have more than 30 years in the sector and have helped develop toolkits for some of the world's most recognisable brands, including sporting organisations and associations.
Their experience covers HR, diversity and inclusion, leadership and governance, mental health and wellbeing, talent management and recruitment, inclusive marketing and communications, and digital accessibility.
They know B Corp from the inside too: their directors have been through the process three times with two different businesses, Includability is a certified B Corp with a score of 143.2, and their team are currently working towards becoming B Leaders and consultants.
Do we have to take the modules in order?
No. Take them in any order and start where your gaps are.
How much time does it take?
It's self-paced, one module at a time, so it fits round the day job.
What do we end up with?
Plans, policies, data and records you can put in front of your team, your board or B Lab. There's no write-up at the end.
We're a small team. Is it still for us?
Yes. The guidance includes routes for small teams, such as a facilitated discussion in place of a survey.
Can you help us collect workforce data?
Yes. Our Self-ID Survey runs alongside the toolkit. With Option two we build and run the survey and give you a headline report, at £2,500 + VAT per survey, for organisations of up to 250 people.
Where does the toolkit live?
On the Includability Academy at incademy.co.uk.
