JEDI INCLUSION TOOLKIT
Gathering Worker and Stakeholder Feedback
Hear from everyone, not just the loudest voices, and show what changed as a result. You finish with a stakeholder map, terms of reference for your groups and a close the loop record.
What is an employee feedback and ERG toolkit?
Gathering Worker and Stakeholder Feedback is an employee feedback and ERG terms of reference toolkit in the JEDI Inclusion Toolkit. It helps you map your stakeholders, run a JEDI principles discussion, set up feedback routes people trust, write terms of reference for employee resource groups and inclusion working groups, and show what changed.
Who it's for
- HR, People and Culture leads who gather employee feedback
- ERG and staff network leads, sponsors and chairs
- B Corp certification leads working on JEDI1.1 and JEDI2.f
Why is honest employee feedback so hard to get?
Data shows you what is happening. Feedback tells you why. Most organisations already ask for feedback, but the same voices tend to answer, and the people with the most to say often say the least. Contractors, candidates, customers and community partners rarely get asked at all.
When feedback goes nowhere, people stop giving it. Employee resource groups lose momentum without a clear purpose or a route to decision-makers, and leaders end up acting on assumptions.

Support
You can email us with questions as you work through any module, and you can book a call with the team to talk through how to get the most from the toolkit. If there's a template, tool or feature you'd like to see added, tell us. We build the toolkit around what the people using it need.
Questions we get asked
What is an employee resource group?
A voluntary, worker-led group formed around a shared identity or experience, often with allies. An inclusion working group is different, because it has a remit to change something, usually with a leadership sponsor.
What should ERG terms of reference include?
The purpose of the group, who can join, who sponsors it, what time and budget it has and how its feedback reaches the people making decisions. The module includes a terms of reference template.
How do you get honest employee feedback?
Offer more than one route, make it safe to speak up, explain what you will do with what people tell you, and then tell them what changed. The close the loop record helps with the last step.
Is this an EDI employee feedback toolkit?
Yes. It works as an EDI or diversity and inclusion feedback and network toolkit for any employer, whether you have several staff networks or none yet. We call it JEDI because it adds justice and follows the B Corp standards.
How does this module support B Corp JEDI1 and JEDI2?
It supports JEDI1.1 and JEDI2.f. Your stakeholder map, terms of reference, meeting notes and close the loop record show who you heard from and what changed as a result.
What support do we get?
You can email us with questions as you work through the module, and book a call with James and Dave to talk through getting the most from it.
Can we suggest new templates or features?
Yes. Tell us what you would like to see added. We build the toolkit around what the people using it need.
Is this module a certification?
No. Includability does not assess, certify, accredit or verify anything. B Lab assesses and certifies B Corps. The module helps you do the work and gather the evidence.
Not sure which modules you need?
A Cultural Roadmap with a JEDI Gap Analysis shows you, so you start where your gaps are.
The Roadmap shows the gaps. The toolkit closes them and produces your evidence.
Need the data first?
We build and run your Self-ID Survey and hand you a board-ready report.
