Sara brings more than 25 years of HR and inclusion experience across FTSE businesses and elite sporting organisations. As Director at Includability and EDI Partner Expert, she leads the Diversity and Inclusion expert partner calls for Committed Employer organisations, helping HR and People leaders get an honest, independent view of where their inclusion work stands and what to focus on next.

About Sara Matthews
I've spent 25 years working in HR and inclusion, and the thing I keep coming back to is this: most organisations aren't short of good intentions. What they're short of is a clear, honest picture of where they actually are, and a practical way to move from that to something that works.
That's the work I do. As Director at Includability and EDI Partner Expert, I work with organisations to build inclusion strategies that are grounded in reality, aligned with their business objectives, and designed to last. Not tick-box exercises. Not compliance for its own sake. Actual culture change that people inside the organisation can feel.
My background is in FTSE businesses and elite sporting organisations, which means I've operated at board level in sectors where performance pressure is high and the gap between stated values and lived experience can be significant. That context shapes how I approach every engagement: practical, pragmatic and focused on what will actually stick.
Through Includability, I lead the EDI expert partner calls for Committed Employer organisations. These aren't audits or assessments. They're structured, expert-led conversations that give HR Directors, People Leaders and EDI Leads a genuine outside perspective on where their inclusion work is, what's missing, and what to prioritise next.
My consultancy ODiSEE now operates within the Includability collective, bringing together HR and EDI expertise to help organisations build cultures that are genuinely diverse, sustainable and commercially aware.
